KUALA LUMPUR: If you’re an adventurous foodie, there’s something new for you to try.
Satti Sorru - a chain of food stalls in Pudu, Petaling Jaya and Klang – serves authentic Indian claypot curry with a wide selection of meat choices which includes wild boar and… monitor lizard!
The chain, which has made a name for itself with its signature curries featuring a unique blend of spices and herbs, is now on the radar thanks to its latest ‘biawak’ offering.
It is not clear where Satti Sorru sources its monitor lizards from, but many adventurous patrons have been more than willing to try the dish.
According to them, the meat is tender and full of flavour.
Once you’ve satiated your appetite for monitor lizard, go ahead and try Satti Sorru’s other curries, which include prawn, quail, pork, and chicken claypot.
